My friend and I have been planning a Sanrio sleepover of sorts, she is Cinnamoroll, and I’m My Melody. We want to dress up as the characters, and I’ve just found the perfect pajama sets to do so!
I’ve seen these specific PJs do numbers on TikTok and generally online. They are the perfect gift for someone who loves Sanrio, cute aesthetics, typically has kawaii fashion taste, or just wants some adorable set of pajamas!
Here’s how to be the cutest person at the sleepover, or perhaps… have the cutest sleepover?!
If you want to be the wonderfully cute character Pompompurin, then here’s it!
Popompurin is characterized by the cutesy yellow features of a dog, accentuated by a brown beret. He always has an adorable little smirk on his face and is just simply the most precious golden retriever. His original name was My Pudding because he would hang out in a bit of pudding cup. His friends, being named Muffin, Scone, and Custard, also explain a little bit more!
The pajamas themselves are soft and cute. They look like they’d lay so softly against my skin. The fabric seems stretchy and likes it would apply comfortably on someone’s body. Generally, I just want to fall asleep in it! They would be so comfortable and yet adorable, which is hard to find in themed sets like these as they have a hard time not fixating aesthetics. However, these are different, and I can see that they have some quality without the Sanrio theme.
They catch Pompompurin’s essence so perfectly, and it’s almost like a Sanrio cosplay of him.
The pajamas themselves come in basic sizing of small, medium, large. Lighting could make it seem lesser or brighter yellow, but it will continue to stay true to Pompompurin.
Overall, I would have to rate these a ten out of ten just because of the comfortability and the kawaii aesthetic that significantly captures Pompompurin’s adorability!
Kuromi is My Melody’s Halloween Queen counterpart. Fittingly, she is also born on Halloween. She is shown with a cute little black jester hat and pink skull the changes faces on top of her head. Kuromi is definitely a girly girl, though, and is boy crazy at some moments. Personality does not match her exterior aesthetics, that’s why you see her accessorize with cute pink things!
Kuromi is heavily prevalent in alternative crowds like the punk, scene, and goth areas due to her cute black and pink exterior. And just like that, she is perfect for your emo aesthetics, too!
Quite similar to the Pompompurin pajamas material wise but the pajamas seem to also be made with the exact stretchy and relaxing fit, cozy for any sleepover or just Sanrio-themed hangout.
Especially with just the vibe of Kuromi, her top can definitely be dressed up into a cute alternative crop top. The entire essence of these pajamas is adorable but hardcore which captures Kuromi perfectly.
Sizes come in small, medium, or large only, which is unfortunate. Any Kuromi who’s looking to get this should bring your My Melody bestie into it, too, so you can be that cute Sanrio pairing.
These pajamas don’t have the issue of color-changing as well because they are simply just black with an embroidered pink badge on top. Hence, what you see is definitely what you’ll love when it arrives!
Now, these were the ones I was excited about. My friend and I were explicitly thinking of these outfits, and it is also one of the main things that lead me to write for Paloliworld.
I was genuinely searching for cute quality Sanrio pajamas, and these were a big end of my search. My friend then sent me over their little blogger hiring and now here I am! Writing for the cutest website ever.
Back to the cute little pajamas, first is My Melody. She is the epitome of pretty in pink and debuted as the Little Red Riding Hood- hence why you’ll sometimes see her in a red instead of pink fit. My Melody is also British, fun fact!
The clothes are obviously still absolutely comfy looking and are precious. Definitely, in the right context, they would be quite a cute set of lingerie but also passes as a pajama set or a cute crop top. The shorts I do not think carry as much versatility, though but they do their role wonderfully.
This specific listing also comes with a pin, and the My Melody pin is dazzling like always.
Cinnamoroll on the other hand, is yet another absolutely charming puppy. Beautifully white with blue eyes, a little chub, and big ears that can make him fly!
Cinnamoroll catches his essence cutely, and I would love to add these to my little pin collection I have on my backpack. His pajama set is cute, versatile, and I would find much more use in a pair of white fluffy shorts as well. Each separate piece of Cinnamoroll’s listing is charming, and a huge want!
Both Cinnamoroll and My Melody’s listings come in sizes small to 2xL which is lovely to see. Overall, size diversity in Paloliworld is really common and most of their products have a pretty good range. It’s amazing to see a large amount of representation in these wonderful clothes.
All of the Sanrio pajama sets are on sale right now as well, so you can get them for like 30 dollars which is really cheap for such quality pajamas! The most expensive one is 35 dollars for Kuromi but I still definitely think it is worth it. I’ve seen separate listings for pajamas like these as well and these are definitely the best price for the best quality.
Personally, when companies do separate listings of pajama sets like this, I’m scared that they won’t go together. These PJs, though, all look like they belong with each other. They look like the perfect outfits for a late-night hang-out or sleepover with your friends and then wear around the house when the party is over! These are perfect with friends or just for yourself. Honestly, I will buy my friend and me the Cinnamoroll and My Melody ones right now because I love them so much.
